Bajri no Rotalo – Millet Bread

Bajri na Rotla (Millet Bread) is famous Kathiyawadi winter special and daily meal. Rotla can eat with almost all veg and various food recipes.

Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cup millet flour
  2. Water according to requirement
  3. Salt to taste

Instructions

Take millet flour in a bowl. Add water and salt in it and knead the dough.
Dough should be very soft. Now make small dough in smooth sphere shape.
Take some water in your palm and flatten the sphere and give round shape like roti.
Keep your palm wet with water and keep round corner rotla smooth. It should not get split.
Make perfect shape and It should not stick in hand. It should not be broken from anywhere.
Once desire shape formed, put in tavdi (clay pan) at low flame.
Once one side cooked properly, flip it down.
After both sides gets cooked, put rotla directly on flame for half minute.
Now spread ghee or butter over it and serve it hot.
You can serve rotla with any vegetables, Ringan Batata nu Shaak , Ringan no oro , ghee god. Even you can mash rotla in milk or any curry or kadhi . It also tastes delicious.
