Churma (Prasad)

Churma (Prasad) is made during festival specially Janmastami, Ashadhi Bij. Churma is Rajasthani sweets, but major Gujarati families made during festivals. Churma is healthy and delicious recipe.

Ingredients

  1. 250 gm Wheat flour (coarse)
  2. 200 gm Jaggary
  3. 250 gm Desi Ghee
  4. ½ cup milk
  5. Little water
  6. 2 tbsp cashew nuts
  7. 2 tbsp almond
  8. Ghee for frying

Instructions

Take wheat flour in bowl and add 2 tbsp ghee.
Add milk and mix well.
Knead the dough using little water. Dough should be hard.
Now divide dough into small balls. Press balls slowly.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry all in a slow flame.
When it cools, crush all in a mixture.
Now heat ghee and jaggary at slow flame in a pan.
When bubble seen, add crush flour, cashew nuts and almond.
And stir properly.
Churma is ready.

Notes

You can add warm water instead of milk. You can fry ball in oil also.
