Gulab Jamun is tasty, soft and fluffy fried aromatic Indian dessert. Warm gulab jamun is khoya based popular Indian sweets, which is widely use in all occasions like marriage, festivals. Gulab jamun made with khoya and sugar syrup.

Gulab Jamun

Ingredients

  1. 250 gm Gulabjamun mawa (khoya)
  2. 350 gm Sugar
  3. 1 cup milk
  4. ½ tsp cardamom powder
  5. Ghee according to requirement
  6. Rose petals or Dry fruits for garnish

Instructions

Add milk in khoya, in the bowl.
Mix cardamom powder in it.
Knead the dough. Knead very well.
Divide dough in to small balls.
Heat the ghee in a pan. Fry balls in it.
Stir continuously till it become brown in color.
If balls are crack, knead dough very well.
Add water in to sugar till sugar deep.
Boil it till it forms half thread.
Add balls when syrup cools.
Keep balls in syrup till 1 hour.
Garnish with rose petals or dry fruits.
