Mix Kathol nu Shaak – Mix Pulses

Kathol (Pulses) is good source of protein, Carbohydrate, calcium, iron and fat. Pulses are healthy options for vegetarians. Pluses may add in many other recipes like soups, casseroles and more and add extra texture and flavor. Pluses are helpful in loose weight, reduce blood cholesterol, reduce lipids stored in blood serum, reduce and control blood sugar and more.

Here I represent healthy mix kathol nu shaak.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup Chickpea (chana)
  2. ½ cup Moth beans (math)
  3. ½ cup Dried Green Peas
  4. ½ cup Chola Beans
  5. ½ cup Green Beans (mag)
  6. 1 cup Tomatoes (chopped)
  7. 1 cup Onions (chopped)
  8. 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  9. 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  10. Water according to requirement
  11. For seasoning
  12. 3 tbsp oil
  13. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  14. Pinch of asafetida
  15. ½ tsp turmeric powder
  16. 2 tsp garlic chutney
  17. 2 tsp red chili powder
  18. Salt to taste

Instructions

Soak all kathod in warm water at least 4-5 hour.
Cook for 7-8 whistle in a cooker.
When it becomes cool, drain water from it.
Keep in a bowl.
Heat oil in a pan at slow flame.
Add cumin seeds in it.
When it is spluttering, add tomatoes and onions in it.
Stir it properly.
Now add salt, garlic chutney, turmeric powder, red chili powder
In it mix well and add all kathod in it. Stir properly.
Add 1-2 cup water in it.
Cook for 5 minutes at slow flame.
Now add lemon juice in it. Mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with regular dish.

Notes

You can add more garlic chutney to Spicier.
