Cabbage Carrot Sambharo
Cabbage Carrot Sambharo (Salad) is an accompaniment to the Gujarati main meal. Sambharo is nutrient and traditional Gujarati side-dish.
Ingredients
- 4 cup Cabbage (finely shredded)
- 1 medium size Carrot (grated)
- 4-5 green Chilis (finely shredded)
- 2½ tbsp Oil
- ½ tsp Mustard seeds
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
For seasoning
Instructions
Heat oil in pan at medium flame.
Add mustard seeds in oil. When it splutters, add turmeric powder, cabbage, carrot, chili, salt in it and stir it well.
Cook for 4-5 minutes at slow flame.
When it becomes crunchy, Sambharo is ready for serve.
