Gujarati Pudla (Besan ka cheela – Chickpea Pancake) is famous Gujarati savoury pancakes. Pudla is simple pancake with chickpea and Coriander leaves. There are other variant of Pudlas like spicy, sweet etc.
It widely used as breakfast or dinner. Pudla is gluten free vegan recipes serves with green chutney, chili pickles. It is simple and easy to made but as more delicious breakfast.
Gujarati Besan Pudla – Chickpea Pancake
Ingredients
- 3 cup Chickpea flour (besan)
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of Turmeric powder
- Water according to requirement
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
Mix flour, coriander leaves, salt in a bowl.
Add water and make batter form.
Batter should be medium not thin or thick.
Heat non stick pan and pour 1/3 cup batter on pan at slow flame.
Make round shape of it.
Add very little oil in its edge side.
Cook till it appears golden brown color.
Turn Pudla into other side.
Also cook till light golden brown color.
Serve with green chutney.
