Kaju Katli – Diwali Sweets
Kaju Katli (Cashew fudge) is most famous Diwali Sweets and special occasion sweet. It is also know as Kaju Barfi, an Indian dessert similar to a barfi.
Ingredients
- 150 gm Kaju (Cashew Nut)
- 100 gm Sugar
- 2 tsp Ghee
- 5 tbsp Desi Ghee
- Water according to requirement
- Silver foil for Garnishing
Instructions
First of all grind kaju in mixture grinder.
For sugar syrup, take sugar in a bowl and add water till sugar deep.
Boil it till it forms 2 threads.
Add grinded kaju in to sugar syrup. Mix it well.
When it becomes dough form, remove from flame.
Add ghee in to dough and knead it.
Roll out in to roti shape between two plastic papers.
Decorate with silver foil and cut in to diamond shape.
