Khichdi
Khichdi is commonly considered to be a comfort food. Khichdi is commonly served with a side of kadhi, papad, ghee, curd, There are many variant of khichdi like veg khicdhi, vagareli khichdi and more.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice
- ½ cup Mung Dal
- 1 tsp ghee
- 5 cup water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Mix rice and mung dal. Wash both with water.
Soak mung dal and rice for half an hour.
Then heat water in a cooker and add rice and mung dal in it.
Now add ghee in it
Lid the cooker and cook for 6-7 whistle.
Khichadi is ready for serve.
Serve with shak, all types of spinach, curd etc.
Notes
You can add more water to make semi solid khichadi.
