Methi na bhajiya is crispy Gujarati snack. During winter or monsoon, methi bhajiya is the best snacks. Methi bhajiya serves with fried chili, chutney and cup of tea. It is most famous snacks from Gujarat. It tastes more delicious during rain. Specially in Saurashtra, you will find methi na bhajiya in every occasions.
This delicious snack is easy to made and healthy also. Because of Asafetida, methi bhajiya is easy for digest.
Methi Na Bhajiya (Fulwadi Bhajiya)
Ingredients
- 250 gm chickpea flour
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 2 cup fenugreek leaves (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- ½ tbsp coriander seeds
- A pinch of asafetida
- 1 tbsp green chili (chopped)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 5-6 black pepper
- 1 tbsp hot oil
- Water according to requirement
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Sieve the flour in a bowl.
Add salt and baking soda.
Also add lemon juice on it.
Now add all ingredients in it.
Last add water and make batter.
Batter should not be very soft or not very hard.
Heat oil in pan at medium flame.
With help of finger or spoon put batter in oil.
Make bhajiya. Deep Fry till it become crispy.
Serve with chutney, sauce, masala curd and fried chili.
